The SurvPC File Selector provides a consistent interface that permits a file of interest to be located and opened for use:
Note: The Type "file extension" will vary based on the underlying command that is launching this dialog box.

This button will paste a file selected with the Copy option. |

This button will clone a copy of the selected file to the device clipboard for use with the Paste option. |
| Type: | Specifies the type of file of interest. Some file options will only look for one type of file; others may permit you to select from a variety of file types.
Note: Unless an explicit file extension is provided, SurvPC will automatically add the default file extension to the file name. |
| Drive: | This permits the user to select a desired folder (e.g. mapped drive or inserted USB drive). |

This button navigates up one folder from the current folder location until the root folder of the drive is reached. |
 |
This button creates a new folder from the current folder location. |
 |
This button displays files and folders within the current folder as button icons. |
 |
This button displays files and folders within the current folder in a detail list format. |
| Name: | This permits you to specify a desired file name. |
