Known Limitations

W2CAD has the following known limitations.

Issue	Notes
Password Protected Documents	Problem: WD2CAD cannot open and update Word documents that are password protected. Workaround: None.
Cloud-stored Documents	Problem: WD2CAD may hang the host CAD product when trying to update Cloud-stored (e.g. MicroSoft One-Drive, etc) documents. Workaround: Have Word open with the document(s) already open. Note: It is also suggested the Update Objects on Drawing Open feature of the Word2CAD System Defaults is toggled off.
