Tolerances
The settings that determine whether an as-built pile is out of tolerance for location or distance driven.
- N/S Plumb - The plumb (degrees) error measured in the north/south direction.
- E/W Plumb - The plumb (degrees) error measured in the east/west direction.
- Front/Back - Distance front or back of the as-built pile from the design in the direction the machine drove the pile (azimuth).
- Left/Right - Distance left or right of the as-built pile from the design in the direction the machine drove the pile (azimuth).
- Refusal Time -
- Refusal Z - Distance of the as-built pile’s stopping hammer position above the design that is high enough to label it “refused” rather than a standard deviation from design.
- Below Z - Distance of the as-built pile’s stopping hammer position below the design.
- Above Z - Distance of the as-built pile’s stopping hammer position above the design.
